Ally Condie tweeted back at me.

Happy girl.

BOOKS GALORE.

As per usual - juggling a bunch of books, and thirsting for a whole bunch of new ones …reading list is increasing (But money is an issue) I know I’ve bought about 50 books since the summer, and have only read about 35 of them since. I have about 10 (More or less) to go till I’ll allow myself to buy another book.
I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hunger Games.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so emotionally involved with a book. I didn’t even think that was possible, to this extent atleast.

dearest anon,

To whoever sent me the anon message, you’ll know what i’m talking about if it was you. I’m really sorry for the situation you’ve got on your hands, and I really wish I could help, but i’m probably the wrong person to talk to about that considering I’ve never been in that sort of predicament. I really do hope you figure yourself out, if we’re friends you don’t have to hide this from me I wont judge - you can approach me in ways other than an anon message on tumblr, and If we aren’t I really hope you find all the answers you’re looking for. Sending some positivity your way. x

I Seriously Love the Matched Series - Ally Condie.

The Hunger Games has nothing to do with Battle Royale, nor was it inspired by it. Try The Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, or try watching some of the reality Tv shows Ms.Collins has herself. Also the comparison on Twilight - Harry Potter & The Hunger Games is completely unnecessary. I’ve read all 3 series (Loved all 3 btw) and I know they each offer a different thing and that there story lines are way different. So to belittle The Hunger Games as a book that’s just about fighting is really stupid and does not make sense. The Hunger games is a lot more than people fighting till the finish, the book/story has so much more to offer. Confused? read the book, you wont regret it.

Look what I Caught. <3

Girl On Fire…. k not really.

A Picture I took Of Liam when he was here in Toronto. xo

HUNGER GAMES RANT!

It’s expected that people will be left unsatisfied with the movie because there are many details/events that have been taken out or new parts added in. It’s expected by those who love the books but let’s keep in mind that it’s 2 and a half hour movie more or less and of course there would be many alterations. With that situation at hand I think that Gary Ross went in the right direction with his vision and came up with a product that should leave many Hunger Game Fans happy. The Acting was spectacular, the cinematography, the music, the wardrobe - everything was brilliant. So I can say that I’m not disappointed at all, I appreciate the adaptation of the book and I’m looking forward to what Catching Fire has in store.
